Given that there are, supposedly, 445 threads and each thread can
branch-off into several twigs, and each thread/twig MUST have a post

I only post the stats calculated by Xananews, there are no kill files or
filters on the feed I use for these stats.

There may be a threshold set for a post to be counted but that is only
conjecture on my part. Not to mention I really don't care enough to do
a deep dive into the stats.

It's more to do with how a "thread" is defined by the software
I'd say. As in, does a branch, or subject change, make it a
different thread? In Dave's stat posts sometimes multiple
threads had the same subject titles. I don't know how the
software actually works in regards to that, it's just something
I've noticed.

The post totals will be correct as the software is not going to
tell lies... all it does is count whatever messages were passed
through the nntp server that the stats are calculated from. It
has no interest in who posted actual content to RADW or who is
the top poster!!!

At a guess I'd say a lot of the "unanswered posts" are from
Dave, as he is in some people's killfiles so unless somebody
replies to him, others won't see his messages to reply!

The same with Tim when he was around, as part of the stats
