One of our local Free-to-Air T.V. Channels has (re-)started screening
'Quantum Leap' and, whilst watching this morning episode, it occurred to
me that this might be the U.S. of A.'s attempt to out do The Doctor!!

Sure, there are differences (e.g. Quantum Leap adventures ONLY occur on
Earth), but isn't QL, more or less, a clone of 'Doctor Who??

That's the horrible reboot (supposed sequel) version - thankfully now
cancelled. If you want the real version of "Quantum Leap", then you
need to watch this one instead:
