Anyone knows where I can find torrents for US Survivor S46?

I used to download from EZTV but it seems they don't have the
three first episodes.

They have E04 tho, here it is

https://eztvx.to/ep/2286666/survivor-s46e04-720p-hdtv-x264-syncopy/
(2659.2 MB)

Ah, thanks!

Here are episodes two and three:

https://1337x.to/torrent/6016397/Survivor-S46E02-HDTV-x264-PHOENiX/

https://1337x.to/torrent/6024180/Survivor-S46E03-Wackadoodles-Win-720p-AMZN-WEB-DL-DDP5-1-H-264-FLUX-TGx/

Still can't find S46E01 but the first episode is always the
same so maybe can reuse from season 45.

Virtually all Survivor episodes (including the UK, SA and OZ versions) are
readily available on the internet if you know how to look for them. But
keep in mind you can also watch any recent US episode (including S46 Ep 1)
on cbs.com, though I believe they may be delayed by a day.

Searching the web for torrents is the only method I'm aware
of, but using that, yes, I did find US Survivor S46E01 here:

Pirate Bay. Do a search for their proxy sites. There are lots of them in

Of course, TPB is from a particularly cool part of Europe as
well :)

Wasn't all in on the computer kid subculture hype but sure,
used their service a lot and long after one stopped hearing
about them in mainstream media.

The best thing about TPB and Survivor is that the current
episodes are uploaded so quickly. No need to wait around
until the next morning, that’s for sure.

Doesn't CBS post the episodes at midnight PT? They've been posting scene
and bonus clips on YouTube before the episode even airs in the west. To
play it safe I watch an east coast feed so I don't get spoiled.

Yeah, I remember you watching those and saying they were the
reason you understood strategy. I don't know, maybe one of the
reasons?

It is something I never understand by the way.
Conceptually I understand it, sure, but from watching the
show, I can't tell who are with who or what alliance go what
way. And I even watch every episode many times! I have
a projector, not an expensive one but it works well, so during
Survivor season a huge wall is just Survivor all the time for
me :) So it is really embarrassing! But to me Survivor was
always some exotic, camp outdoor thing just as much. And not
just to me of course!

Looking back, I get the impression in the golden days it was
easier to follow strategy. It was the majority alliance ruling
and the minority one being demoralized, flattering and lying,
looking for cracks. I guess that was enjoyable then because it
was straightforward to follow but it got too predictable so
good that the game went on.

Or maybe one was just smarter and payed more attention when
one was younger?

But anyway what I really intended to ask you, with longer
episodes, has the need for bonus clips decreased?

Maybe they still just want to produce more and more, to create
PR around the show - and even make some extra dough from
YouTube videos, possibly? Or is that just small change
compared to what they get from TV deals all around the world?

What do you think?

Pretty solid season so far!

Torrents and peer-to-peer downloading was introduced many
years ago now but is still the way to go. So those guys
probably experienced some really interesting events first hand
with their website and technology, and everything that
happened after with the law enforcement - it must all have
been not just stressful but also exciting.

I think it's just a change in the editing. At times they made it quite
obvious who was going but now they try to throw the viewers off on who
is going to some degree. Though it still is the case that the person
getting the most face time in an episode, especially if they normally
don't get that much time, is likely the person getting voted off.

Apparently not as Brian brought up at least one clip that gave us a
better insight into why Venus is having problems with her tribe.
Something that we could guess was going on but didn't actually see
during the show.

I think part of the problem is that it is difficult to come up with
new concepts and make a successful show. Plus the added cost of a new
show versus just expanding an existing show for minimal cost. After
all they really on the need the work of a few editor to add on that
extra 30 minutes of show time (which is really only 15-20 minutes
depending on how much ad time there is.

The episodes have also been showing up on Usenet, but someone is out
there trying to take them down pretty quickly. So it seems like you
only have a few hours from when they are posted to Usenet before they
are taken down. Though I think there may still be one Usenet site that
isn't part of the DMCA zone or at least there used to be. Been some
time since I looked into that.

In binary groups?

I never downloaded anything from Usenet, that would have been
interesting to do.

But they are not available on news.eternal-september.org
anyway so maybe hard to do.

Wow, who does that and why? And who uploads it? I mean, why do
they do that?

Thanks for an interesting post!

Are there any advantages of downloading it from Usenet
compared to the magnet and torrent method?

The rights holders of the show ask for content to be taken down.
Paramount Global (they own CBS) spends big money on Survivor and they
rely on ad revenue a lot to pay the bills. SEG probably also requests
take down orders to help keep the show profitable.

Adding in more content should be very doable. BB does three
episodes/week and that's for a live game. Survivor has months to edit
and a lot bigger budget.

But to be fair, BB is a very different game. BB players are well-fed,
protected from the elements, and they literally spend 24 hours a day in
close quarters thinking about strategy, forming alliances and relationships,
talking to one another, and, yes, playing the game. There is literally not
much else for them to do and not much opportunity to get away from the other
players. On Survivor, players are malnourished, exhausted, constantly
fighting the elements, constantly foraging for food, looking for idols, and
just sometimes walking around the island trying to clear their heads. They
probably spend far less time in close physical proximity to everyone else,
and I suspect there is actually less total strategy talk than on BB.

Obviously Survivor players do also engage in strategy and gamesmanship, but
there is often enormous down time where they just want to rest and try to
recoup their strength. And yes, it's clearly the case that Survivor has a
much bigger budget, but it is also a much more expensive game to produce,
with much of that budget going toward challenges, rewards and maintaining a
complex outdoor infrastructure in a foreign country. BB is effectively
filled on a closed soundstage in the US, and the challenges by definition
are much lower scale.

Yes, in binary groups and yes, Eternal September does not carry
binaries. I'm not aware of any free to use news server that also
carries binaries.

As to who does it , most likely it is one of the companies that
businesses like CBS hire to protect their content. As to who uploads
it, that would be individuals around the globe that feel like doing
so. Nobody is getting paid to do it so whomever posts will change from
year to year.

Yeah, seems like Eweka and possibly a few more don't follow the DMCA
takedowns. Instead they follow their own NTD form which means they may
not always get takedown notices as not all people who use the DMCA to
remove content will be aware of the NTD or when they need to follow
NTD rules.

The only real advantage to using Usenet to download the media is the
anonymity. Nobody is keeping track of who downloads what from Usenet.
While there are those same companies mentioned above who will keep
track of who is downloading their protected content from torrents and
then try to send out notices to those people. That's when you get a
notice from your ISP about downloading protected content which can
lead to them dropping you as a customer.

Or you just a VPN when using torrents so your ISP has no clue what you
are downloading and the companies can only track the downloader to the
VPN company. Who, if they are any good at their jobs, will say they
have no idea who downloaded that content as they don't keep those
records. Been there before. As I said above some companies are super
protective (Cartoon Network was the one I ran afoul of) and are quick
to send out notices if they catch you downloading their content.

Yeah, that was my understanding as well.

Because the binaries are the trouble. First, it is illegal,
piracy; second, it is what makes traffic volumes explode.

So to run such a service is a whole other ball game and there
is no incentive to do it free of charge, for sure.

(It may also be illegal not just in terms of piracy but also
in the sense some of the material being distributed - but
let's not talk about such things.)

Without the binaries, it is just text. Very small traffic
volume in today's high tech IT world and yeah, how illegal can
it get? Most likely not a lot.

Yes, I meant, it surprises me that Usenet downloading still
happens at a scale CBS bothers to hunt it down. But I guess
when it comes to money people will always find the time and
resources to protect their sources of income.

They are probably enthusiastic about both the material and the
technology to distribute it. As for Usenet, this group should
be pretty small by now but maybe such veterans are still
active somewhere, that would be inspiring.

Really, in Sweden there has been no law cases against mere
downloaders, only a couple of high profile runners of torrent
sites have been cracked down. As for actions from the ISPs
visavi their customers, I have not heard of anything like that
ever happening but I guess it could have without me knowing.
