In one of nature's least impressive spectacles, Halley's Comet reaches
aphelion today, i.e. its furthest distance from the sun. Whether or
not you saw it in 1986, tonight would be the worst possible night to
look for it. But you might succeed if you have access to the Hubble
or JWST space telescopes.
