Here in Virginia, it got down to 15F (-10 C) on the third week of
January. We got 8 inches (20 centimeters) of snow, equally divided
between Monday the 15th and Friday the 19th. I shoveled the sidewalk
and paths to the door and to the garage. Twice.

The following Friday, two days ago, the temperature got up to 80F (27
C). I love global warming.

There were two minor downsides: All my hard work shoveling has been
undone, as there is not a speck of snow anywhere. And I had left
three oranges in my rather frigid self-storage locker. One of them
spoiled.

Typical January weather.
