Google will give you number of voters in individual matchups in each Battle but unless Rick has voter totals for each Battle I fear you're stymied

Here are the voter totals for each Battle. Note that the 1956 Battle was not conducted through
Marc's website, so I don't have access to the individual votes. I culled voting totals for each
pair of songs for each round from Roger's posting of the results, and the greatest number of votes
for any pair was 31, so there were at least 31 entrants and likely exactly that many, since I would
assume everyone would have voted on "Roll Over Beethoven" vs. "I Walk The Line," where Chuck won
22-9.

Thanks, Rick. The decline in number of voters is certainly apparent from then to now, but not as steep as I expected.

Bruce's contests would have been much more enjoyable with the number of voters in Roger's contests.

Not sure I agree with that. Besides all the extra work that would've been for me, with 30-40 voters each person's vote does not mean very much. With the number of voters I had each voters wields a decent amount of weight on the outcomes.

According to what I have 34 people voted in the Grand Final of the 1956 Battle
