I'm not much of a Ral Donner fan finding most of his stuff pretty dull or weak--or both. We never got his take of this song here since the Elvis version was issued as a UK 45RPM (b/w "A Mess Of Blues") and naturally was a big hit

BTW Elvis has the best version---but NOT the original version on the song. From 1959 this guy does (even weaker than Ral's)

Like many of his records Ral's remake of Cliff Richard's "Nine Times Out Of Ten" is pretty limp too

But one I DO like by him is the rockin' "I Got Burned" from much later (1963) on Reprise
