Not going to watch the vid, but some truths:

Austro-German music is the most beautiful music ever written - fuck the music of the other whites ;)

This is not just the opinion of experts, but of everyone with an ear for music and an understanding for what is beautiful.

As much as I trashed Beethoven lately, I only trashed him in relation to Bach and Mozart... I think Beethoven is more at the level of Brahms and Schubert... maybe a little above... but nowhere near Bach and Mozart. The thing is... when Beethoven is beautiful, he is really beautiful - much more so than Brahms or Schubert, but... he sure likes to fuck things up more than them... and Ijust fucking hate his heroic nonsense... fuck the eroica... but then again, I like the eroica more than 99% of the other symphonies...

There is not much to discuss. These days one can make a living by stating the obvious, i.e. that a theory of European music is a theory of European music. Wait, there is yet another thing to be done: blame the system.

The video makes a starting assumption that classical music is "18th Century", when obviously this was just a random century in the continuous development of so-called "classical" music. The term "classical" is ambiguous as usual and doesn't (and shouldn't) need to refer to the "classical" period in terms of style. So when you question the starting assumption of the video the rest falls apart.

More precisely, the video blames music theory to be the theory of 18th century European music. But the main point the video wants to make (via Schenker and Hitler, of course) is that European music theory may be a theory of what makes a musical genius - and that a European music theory will only recognize European-style musical geniuses. Hence the white supremacy.

It's like blaming an IQ test for not measuring EQ.

The notation does vary. Music theory is solfege in some European countries, and mostly Roman numerals like IV, V etc.

Jazz and rock notation is Bb7, G13, C dim etc.

There is no "free market". Can anyone
issue currency and print money? If so,
please presenr evidence. Otherwise,
"free markets" are just another hoax.
