I wonder if there are enough people here to have an interesting discussion about this extraordinary musician.

Over the past few days I've listened to a few things -- Chopin mazurkas, some Schubert sonatinas with Kremmer, the Diabelli variations and the Schumann op 11 sonata. All of them are challenging, I would argue all of them ae interesting, valuable things to experience.

I particularly enjoy his rapport with Kremmer in the Schubert, the refinement of his Diabelli variations -- nothing rough hewn thee, and the absence of any "madness" in the Schumann.
