in the extreme, as PLA always does. I do not hear
anything potentially "interesting" or "beautiful" in
the work, PLA or not. KdF is a pedantic didactical
work, no more, no less, and nothing else. In Bach's
time, "art" meant "craft", not inspiration. KdF is

I don't like any of Aimard's performances, least of all this one. Bach is beyond critique. My favorite performance of his KdF is Sokolov's version on Opus 111.
