I'm no expert, but from what I heard, I very much like it. We already talked about him twice here and I remember I was not so favourable the first time he was mentioned (some Bach Cantata NLD-Bach Society).

From what I heard (no time to listen to the full concerto right now) his Brahms VC is very nice:

Have to revise this: Sato's Brahms VC sucks ass... nothing compared to Szeryng with Monteux. (Was (still am) too busy with Mozart operas to pay any real attention...)

I seem to like his tone though... or sth...
