Google Groups limits to which some others have alluded, took offense,
and didn't return. But I have no direct experience with Google
Groups and don't know what they were doing with some people.

For some others, it's more the dynamic you mention.

Why that impression? Google has been heavily spamming
newsgroups until the second it was disconnected to
Usenet. In many groups there was "Thai" flood posts
coming by hundreds a day since October 2023.

Google staunchly lied and said they take measures to
suppress spam but it was really Usenet that they
were suppressing with their Google Approved Spam.

I assume with GGGG that (s)he simply left before
Google cut off Usenet, sooner rather than later.

Yes, the latter is what precipitated Google leaving Usenet (i.e.
before being kicked out). However, they had other ineffective
measures, and it was intimated by some posters here that they had
faced some Google censure (presumably as automated in some half-assed
way in response to the flood they never stopped...).

Back in 2010 there was an interesting, friendly discussion. DK was not part of that discussion. The topic was revived in 2022 and it was hijacked by oneupmanship and talk about escargots or other racist stereotypes.

The irony is, of course, that the OP here does the exact same thing as gggg used to do. Post massive numbers of topics that consist of a blind link only.
