Complete different show from now, I like the old show more,
maybe one should stop watching the modern show expecting some
big relation. Ironically, in the production side of it, it has
become as sport much more.

The way the old shows did good what we got to know the people
much more ... now they appear only as players of the
game/sport.

Early seasons are fun in the way there are very clear and real
stereotypes, they are like a gallery of types that are very
unfit for winning the game of Survivor.

But it's okay and there are nuances there as well, just people
seems to be a lot more okay with showing who they are and are
those roles "young good looking girl, work is not her thing"
or "old dude, probably did a lot, not quite being on a desert
island but sure, get the leadership role anyway" - I miss
them, these roles - because 1) they are comical, and 2) true!

People are like that, don't know if Survivor has been decoded,
to see how people are without (too much) civilization,
Survivor has become to civilized.
