There are three new Collaborative toys being solicited to retailers for later in the year:

TRAN GEN COLLAB PROJECT RENNAISSANCE
TRAN GEN COLLAB PROJECT TAILS

Some people are saying they think Project Knight is Knight Rider, but I doubt it for two reasons. One, Hasbro has specifically mentioned Knight Rider as a license that they were trying to work with in the past, but that Universal Pictures refused to play ball. Also, these are supposed to be "secret" code names, and calling it Project Knight would be way too on-the-nose if it were Knight Rider.

My thinking is that it's likely Batman, and that the code name is a reference to the Dark Knight.

Project Rennaissance seems to point towards Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, since the four Turtles were named after Rennaissance artists. It would be a good jokey sort of code name that forces you to make a small logical leap, so it tracks. The most iconic TMNT vehicle is the Party Wagon/Turtle Van, so I'm guessing they're doing a version that transforms into a robot (probably named Picasso or something, because why not).

The name Project Tails makes me think of Sonic the Hedgehog, though honestly it could be just about anything.

I would love a Batman '66 Batmobile, transforming into a robot armed with Bat Shark Repellant. We have lots of Sharkticons, so I can see this working.

It could also be ROM: The Space Knight, for all we know.

I don't think we have had a collaborative with any of the big active toy properties, so Batman seems unlikely. X-Men was in a lull, and Jurassic Park is pretty much past its prime.

If the robot mode is misshapen with two eyes on one side of the head, etc., I would love for it to be Picasso. But, I expect if they went with a painter name, it would be someone whose estate is not actively curating their legacy.

I want to say Carravagio, but since the Party Wagon is a van and not a car, possibly Van Gogh.

Van Goghbot, using the popular pre-2010 pronunciation of Van Gogh, rather than the more correct phlegmy Flemish pronunciation popularized by the Doctor Who episode "Vincent and the Doctor". (Am I just imagining that it was a massive shift in common pronunciation?)

Botticceli would be closer to the timeframe of the other painters, and has bot in his name, so I could see that.
