"Worm", the first in a series of free online fantasy stories by Wildbow
(J.C. McCrae).

"Worm" is a online fantasy web serial that I have bounced off a couple
of times, that was completed in 2013. I finally finished it the other
day by skimming the last half million words or so. There is around two
million words in the story. They say that a working understanding of
Worm is needful to understand the fan fiction written about "Worm" but I
managed without it. I just did not like the desperation of Taylor in
the story.

If interested, I recommend that you read "Taylor Varga" by
mp3.1415player instead.
