The number of Russians killed is disputed. Kiev claims 200,000 but the general western consensus is around 50,000.

Russian forces however number around 1 million, and there are said to be 2 million reservists.

And most were killed in the initial Russian invasion and counter-offensive. It's a whole different ballgame now Russia has dug in defensively as Ukraine is finding out.

Russia has raised the age at which reservists can re-enlist but the notion that Putin is so desperate he only has 70 year olds to call upon is just laughable propaganda nonsense.

As has been reported elsewhere, the move is to allow older generals and officers to still serve their country, offer their experience, it's not conscription of pensioners.

Nothing at all inaccurate in the title, so stop spouting - And I highly
doubt its as if they have a choice to "serve" or not, Putrid likely
calculates that old men with nothing left to lose might make better
soldiers, too bad he won't lead by example.
