No one should be surprised.

Every price increase is simply theft by the elite to purchase what those handing their hard earned money over can no longer afford, have to do without.

I sometimes wish I were a bank; the BoE rate rises would have allowed me to simply take an extra £500 or more a month from each and every customer for absolutely no good reason. I'd be rolling in filthy lucre along with the elite. And, if people can't afford the extortion, I'll simply take their homes, add it to my assets. It's win-win-win.

It's how capitalism works. Hurrah for capitalism.

The task now is continuing to convince the gullible suckers that socialism is bad for them, is some kind of evil.

Nor surprised that Unilever are still operating in Russia. Supposedly because "it's complicated".

It's not, it's all about making money for the elite, putting profit before people, putting profit ahead of doing the right thing.
