Only 6,000 sq km added over the last day, nearing a very early and very
low peak for the year?
Continuing record minimum Antarctic sea-ice , on this day, of any year
of the satellite era, back to wrt 2022 the previous minima on that day
of the year

If you select all years on charctic for Antarctica the low ice extent is quite dramatic. I thought that the Arctic sea ice would be first to collapse but I am wrong yet again.
I also thought that once it became clear that global warming was happening, action would be taken when it was too late to avoid catastrophe. I reckon I was right about it being too late, but not about action being taken :-(

Another question to ask him
How much loss of Antarctic sea-ice before stressing WAIS , from storm
and warm water exposure, to total break point.
Then how long before the unbuttressed ice cliffs collapse, then how long
before the start of rapid slide off of the glaciers and what sort of SLR
per year onwards.

He did not venture a timescale between WAIS collapse and full pelt
glacial runoff from Antartica as the downwards slope of the land
landward of the grounding zone has only recently been factored in to the
mechanics
