Brussels on Sunday 9th July 2023

Bright morning with hazy sunshine. Increasing and thickening cloud from midday onwards. Subdued distant thunder to the south from 13.45 local time. Closer, louder thunder and a couple of flashes of lightning from 14.20. Moderate rain from 14.35 to 15.00, with occasional thunder, but yhe storm then moved away. Some sunsgine in the late afternoon, but cloudy tgis evening. Still warm, but not as hot as yestzeday. Light SW to W wind veered light to moderate NNW after the rain.
