After a wet morning on Saturday and more wet weather overnight today as
been much drier and quite sunny from midday despite the forecast of
rain all day. I did notice Leek just 9 miles to our north east had rain
all day so we did well to get the sunshine. We also managed 21c which
was the warmest day since the 13th. This evening turned very wet around
21.50 BST with over 12mm of rain in 90 minutes. Still raining now but
not as heavy. Looking much better for Monday and Tuesday thankfully.
