Last night, thunder was heard by my daughter at 0432Z
(I was asleep) and there was heavy rain shortly after.
Intense rain for 20 minutes ending just before 0900Z,
although it has been dry since with short intervals
of sunshine bursting through the low stratus. Since
1400Z, it has been overcast. Misty throughout, and
flirting with fog in the torrential rain and again
now. Extensive hill fog. Poor visibility all day.
Wind E'ly, gradually veering ESE'ly F5.
RH 95%. Max temp so far today 19.2
