2nd only to March 2026 at the height of the last big El Niño (by just 0.1C). It was the warmest August in the UAH record by a wide margin. Be interesting to see what Spencer says. Last month he tried to pass off July's warmth as 'Something unusual is going on'.

I suppose it couldn't be Anthropogenic Global Warning, that almost everyone else in science understands is the underlying cause of these exceptional global temperatures, could it Roy?

My little outdoor temperature and humidity logger tells me that this August
was slightly cooler than July. So where’s all this heat, then?

Stupid denier, like so many of them do, thinks that if it's not record-breaking in his back yard, then Global warming isn't happening. 😂😂😂😂

What next spikey? Go on, blame it on urban heat islands, airfields, or maybe underwater volcanoes. 😂😂😂😂

Have you thought of checking what you’ve written, before posting?

As a deflection tactic to take attention away from your errors, that isn’t
working. Two successive over-egging errors of the kind you made suggest you
have an issue. When you report next month’s scare figures, at least check
