After the hottest and sunniest June on record we had the wettest July
on record with almost 200mm of rainfall. July was also cool and very
dull. That was followed by a very dull and cooler than average August
which was also wet at times. We now have September which by contrast as
seen record breaking warmth. The first half of the month has recorded a
mean some 5.5c above the 1991-2020 average and almost 3.0c above the
warmest September on record set in 2006.

I wonder what the last 3 months of 2023 has in store:)
