Looking more and more certain the Antarctic extent has peaked well early
and low for the year

And not to be outdone, Arctic sea-ice extent does not want to stop
falling, it would seem, comparing with the old normal minima times.

Though PIOMAS is low, but not unusually so for recent years. On a par
with 2018 currently.
