SYNOP: 42370 70612 10075 20066 40168 55002 81631 333 81708 87075=
Trace of stratus (was covering south Shropshire hills earlier), with thin AC on the S horizon and lots of thin cirrus above. Good visibility. Surface wind NE-ENE F4. Minimum temperature so far is 5.9 (0139Z).

Earlier stratus quickly lifted into shallow cumulus - still only trace amounts. Altocumulus in the S quadrant. Traces of cirrus. Very good visibility. Surface wind NE-ENE F3-4 becoming E F4-5 after 1030Z with gusts 25-29 knots.
