<quotes>

Thousands of people have had their water supply cut off due to technical issues at a treatment works.

Long queues built up for a bottled water station, set up in Godalming Crown Court car park, after people lost supply on Saturday afternoon.

Waverley Borough Council leader Paul Follows said he believed between 5,000 and 10,000 homes were affected, while MP Jeremy Hunt said 13,500 homes were off supply with a further 6,500 expected to be cut off shortly.

Mr Hunt said the next question was the potential impact on schools on Monday, if the incident was not resolved.

</quotes>

At least schools will still be standing and pupils will be alive to attend them, those who need water can still get supplies.

It's not like Thames Water had deliberately decided to cut off water for tens of thousands of people for as long as they could get away, only delivering a trickle of what was needed.

Any decent person would have been absolutely and rightly furious if they had done that, wouldn't consider themselves to be haters, Nazis or sub-human garbage who should be put up against a wall and shot for expressing their outrage.
