A small wooden shed likely having no floor, in a fairly exposed place
will surely get blown away in a gale if not secured. I was going to
stand it on an existing old concrete slab where a stable once stood. How
to fix it? There is no mains power for maybe 100ft.

The sort of ties used to prevent roofs blowing off, but rawlbolted to
the concrete?

Doesn't matter about mains being 100ft away, an 18v drill will handle
holes for the bolts.

In my case I have both a battery drill and a 100ft cable reel.

Especially if you pre-drill a 5 or 6mm pilot hole.

What else could you do except 'pre' drill a pilot hole! :-)

I think there's currently a plague of excess 'pre' around.

drill the actual hole you want. :-)
