Coming out of an Ice Age, which is not a CO2-related mechanism, the planet
*will* get warmer…
If you want to stop ‘global warming’ or ‘climate change’, you need to
circularise Earth’s orbit. Windmills and solar farms won’t do that. Got any
ideas?

You also need to screen out the gravitational effects of all the other
planels, most notably Jupiter. These distort the Earth's orbit to some extent,
and also fiddle with the inclination of the Earth's rotational axis (about
23deg at the moment). The latter is stabilised by the Moon, but the Moon's
distance from Earth is increasing, so at some point in the next billyun years
or so, it will be far enough away that (a) it will no longer be gravtationally
bound to the Earth, and will wander off and (b) its ability to keep the axis
stable will be lost, and the tilt of the axis will become chaotic, with any
value between 0 and 90 degrees being possible. At 90 deg, one hemisphere after
the other will gets 6 months of sunlight, and THEN YOU'LL REALLY BE SORRY.

So you'd better have some ideas for stopping the tides, too.

climate change hypothesis. You disagree with each one, and their related

Science has never been about votes.

What matters is the evidence.

The ONLY available evidence is that the atmospheric
CO2 level has certainly increased dramatically but it
has been much higher before and that did not see
thermal runaway of the planet and its not
even clear it dropped back from those
much higher levels in the past.

And it isnt even clear that the increase
in measured temperatures of a couple
of degrees at most is even a bad thing.

Yes, the Thames no longer freezes over, but even that
soggy little frigid island continues to do fine anyway.

And its very far from clear that it is actually possible
to do anything about the increase in atmospheric
CO2 levels without scrapping all the use of fossil
fuel for transport and energy without changing
everything to nukes and going that route would
have FAR more dramatic an effect on lifestyles than
a couple of degrees of temperature rise has had.

And it wasnt that long ago that the worst of the
hysterics were hyperventilation about a significant
drop in temperatures, which turned out to be the
opposite of what actually happened.
