RMK Cu hum. Dry and cloudy at first after 15z yesterday but cloud
largely clearing by dusk leading to a clear evening and early night, but
upper cloud advected over during the night and has thickened and
lowered with slight rain commencing at ob time.
Upper layer of Sc has the appearance of As with the sun weakly visible,
but the Reading Uni cloud base recorder gives the base near 5000ft,
and aircraft climbing out of Heathrow are only weakly visible at 6000 to
7000 ft.
Perhaps it should be coded as As at 5000 ft?
