Firing any tenured faculty member is a lengthy process.

committee to evaluate any possible charges. The process can take months or years.

Given the allegations of plagiarism in Gay's case, she would appear to be in a more precarious situation, but by no
means would her dismissal be guaranteed.

Here's a fifth-rate (as most) "academic", who disgraced her university,
publicly behaved like a colossal idiot (which is apparently exactly what
she is), and as if this was not enough: her academic record is not only
downright miserable, but much of it is plagiarized.

And what will happen? Nothing. I mean, it's not like she's done something
REALLY bad, like this poor guy:
