It's exactly that but what would you do -

Would you let Putin keep the land that Russia has annexed in Ukraine, keep any more land Russia can secure ?

Would you let Hamas wipe Israel from the map ?

In addition to the fact that it is useless to attempt to engage in any
meaningful discourse with you [and I expect you to prove that once again
with your snipped reply], the fact is neither me nor you know the order
of battle details necessary to make a determination of "what we would
do" if we were in charge of Ukraine policy.
If in fact they are going to crumple without massive US aid packages
multiple times a year, then yeah, let them crumple. If they could
survive with some US aid with Euroweenies supplying the majority [for
once], I would be willing to look into that.

Hamas wiping out Israel is sufficiently ludicrous enough to not require
any serious comment. What hamas did was barbaric but it was a measure of
their low grade capabilities [and depravity] that their chosen targets
were dancing girls, children and grandmothers.
