They had fantasies of becoming the queen of the skies with this misfit,
but instead, is the joke of the skies.

They had fantasies of replacing the 747 in aviation history but, like
most fantasies, never even came close.
747 was the queen of the skies for half a century, highly profitable
with over 1,500 built and 500 still flying today.

Airbus A340 was a joke from the start, a complete ripoff to European
taxpayers who lost BILLIONS forking over never ending subsidies to even
launch this disaster. Never made a single $ of profit and never will,
less than 400 were built and most of the few remaining in service have
been grounded for years with less than 70 with the potential to fly
remaining.

But airbus is undeterred, after all, they didn't get soaked with the
massive costs of this failed venture, taxpayers did ,, So they remain
committed to doing it again.
