I see the 390 Duke has an option of a KTM approved Rekluse centrifugal
clutch.

What does it bring to a road-oriented bike that already has a

I think you're also able to pull away and stop without disengaging the clutch, so it's more like a semi-automatic.

Not sure why on earth you'd need one on the road though.

I think the primary reason someone would want one is if they've
got limited strength in their left hand to hold in the lever at a
stop.
