I wrote about this on Thursday but I admire the way Twitter folk condensed into eleven words what it took me about seventy or eighty (ICBA to count them up) words to convey. Or was that a candidate for the rubbish haiku prize?

Though not directly related, that reminds me of one of my mother's
sayings: when she did, proposed, or said something I or my brother had

I think it was Bootsie, in an episode of Bootsie and Snudge, who
received a letter from his Mum saying at the end that she was writing
faster to get to the end before the ink ran out.

My tendency is to write/knit/pour more SLOWLY so that the
ink/yarn/liquid will not run out so quickly and before I've finished
with it.
