Hi all,
found this one today in Virginia Water, not so far from
beloved Sunningdale ...
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ue4y00tji9abukz/20230719_112630.jpg?dl=0

The name is ROBERT SNELL HUTCHINGS

Here he is on find-a-grave
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/219204788/robert-snell-hutchings

P.S. is anyone interested in photographing their local (or not so local)
war memorials, church and village hall Rolls of Honour etc?

I'm doing this for my brother and the pictures might go on various war memorial
and/or genealogy websites. We'd need rights to the pictures so they can be published.

Anyone near Felpersham?

There are plenty on Geograph, if that's any help, all CC licensed, they
just have to be credited to the photographer.

I went out specifically the other day to take a better photograph (than
that on Geograph) of the WWII memorial gateway to the churchyard in a tiny
village not far from me. The plaque commemorates the only local chap who
died in a Japanese prison camp. I sent it to the IWM who didn't have a pic
to go with their record.
