It occurred to me earlier that I hadn't heard anything from Frag lately.

John Higgins has a contact (he used to work with his brother) so he
kindly checked up. Sadly, Frag succumbed to the cancer that he'd been
living with for some time in April.

RIP Frag. I sold him my lad's guitar some years back. I suppose the UKRM
demographic must expect such occurrences, but such news shouts 'Carpe
Diem' in my lughole with increasing insistence lately.

With you there. If I had a motorcycle, I'd be out now. Actually, I
probably wouldn't, as it's nudging 40ºC out there.

A lady that used to do yoga classes suddenly popped her clogs the other
week. Fit as a flea, last time I saw her. But she knew the alzheimers was
on its way.

Frag's MK gaff, scene of much quaffing, fests and of course, the Garage Pixies. First bloke I knew with an HD projector rather than TFT.
Horrendous post crash issues all these years and not long into a new life and wife in the Lone Star State.

I never made a Fragfest either, but met him several times. He bought my CNC mini-mill. Like me
he was always fascinated with techy toys. I liked him a lot. I rather regretted selling it afterwards,
but I hope he got some joy from it.

You missed out. I think the one where Loz and co picked up BRC's R1
and hid it in the house was one of the most epic. She nearly broke the
SO beemer we were driving as she slammed the door on not seeing her

I can't recall where/when the accident that ruined his legs took place, although ISTR is was on a TransAlp.

It was somewhere in Buckinghamshire, south of MK where he lived. I
knew the road well, but misremember its number or exact location, but
it went quite some distance closeto the Grand Union Canal.

Google maps suggests Stoke Hammond, between MK and Leighton Buzzard.
