Anyone know what it would take to make it road legal?

there does not seem to be a UK importer so

a) where would you get spares from
b) is it recognised by insurers?

I'd agree. Also, 85mph from 8kW (10.7HP)? Only falling off a cliff.
And I'll bet it won't make anywhere near 80 - 90 miles at out-of town
road speeds.

Is it any wonder there are som many ninja clad, helmetless, yoof
whooshing around the streets and pavements with stuff so easily shipped
in from China that probably bypasses customs checks.

Is it me, or is the rear wheel considerably smaller than the front?
Looks as though it might be a sort of e-scooter back end on a machine
styled to be a full-size bike. It might be because it needs the lower
gearing, come to think of it.

How about splurging $220 on an e-scooter? Definitely a shops-and-back
only type thing but boy is it cheap and claims to be EU certified. (Also
claims to have a kickstart and an electric start!)
