Since there will very soon be an end to no-fault evictions (if I
understand things correctly), will Oliver have to do one sooner than
later?

I think that selling the property (along with moving into it yourself) will
still be a legitimate reason for eviction.

I believe our wonderful Prime Minister has recently proclaimed that an
end to no fault evictions will not be happening until the legal
framework it needs is in place. I'm guessing that this will not happen
till after he loses the next General Election and emigrates to the USA,
taking his fortune with him.

The legal framework exists in Scotland where it is reasonably
successful. There are rental problems here too but mostly down to
AirBnBs swallowing up the available properties.

Presumably Rishi and his chums don't know this and wouldn't ever have
thought of glancing over the border.
