does he deserve the due care and attention charge as well?

And if you are of the "all crims deserve it frame of mind" then what
make of bike was that because I don't think I want one!

Innocent?

The car driver didn't stop and look before crossing across the
carriageway despite being in heavy traffic with an obscured view
with a slight bend in the road.

The bike rider was badly positioned for this risk and was going
stupidly fast for the conditions.

I think they both deserved due care and attention charges.
