It's never really bothered me, and apart from evoking the bandwidth limiter
settings when clicked I've no idea what it does or what it means.

Nor can I find out anything about it on the Forum. Could you educate me?

According to Check for Updates I am up to date at v 1.27.1.

I've no what it's for, I just found it distracting. There's a tick-box in the
Interface tab of Settings that makes it go away, which is what I want. That's
the sum total of my knowledge I'm afraid.

I've turned mine off too, op thanks for that. I think it's a traffic
indicator, but I don't think we actually need one.

Thank you. I too have turned it off.

Ths settings checkbox says it is a bandwidth indicator, FWIW.

I will raise it in the Forum. It would be nice to have some idea what it is
all about.

It is a very good idea, it indicates the bandwidth during the download, and by
clicking
the mouse a window appears with the data, and the possibility of limiting the
bandwidth and others...
