After 27 years, the saddle on the Honda SOB is cracked and holed with
it's guts spilling out in several places.
Something has to be done.

can't you find someone in the UK like Digger Seats in Newport?

I'd be wary about shipping stuff to Germany now. I sent a pair of boots to
Daytona for repair before Brexit and it was fine but they are not accepting
boots direct from customers in the UK now due to vagueries of shipping.

My #1 top tip is don't try and diy.

#2 would be if you want Corbin style then yes, Dave in Wales.

#3 if you want a the seat putting to standard, then RK Leighton in
Birmingham.

I had a Corbin made for my CB900C, it was better than stock, but only
just. I didn't bother riding my bike 4100 miles round trip to have
one custom fitted.

Quality was not bad, but it was only somewhat better comfort-wise for
me than stock. I realized eventually that I have always had a low
threshold for butt-burn. Touring got better for me when I accepted
I simply had to have longer breaks on long riding days.

I had a Russell Day-Long saddle made for my ZG1000, same story, just
gave them my height, weight and inside leg and they did their best.
Was quite a bit better than stock but looked weird and still did not
cure terminal arse ache.

The Top Sellerie custom saddle on the FJR was one that someone else had
custom made but returned because they didn't like it, so it was pretty
cheap despite coming across the water, and of all the aftermarket
saddles I have had, it has been the most comfortable. Probably because
it's shaped like an equestrian saddle rather than a farm tractor seat.

Coming from somebody who builds his own wheels, that sounds like sage
advice. I had considered it but it's firmly crossed off the list now.

Wessie's suggestion Bagster has an agent here in Holland so that would
make postage and communication easier.
Mark suggested Topsellerie in France and DHL reckons it would be around
€13 to send it to them so that is also worth considering.
There is also a Corbin dealer here now but they look like serious $$$
and I'm not convinced that getting the saddle to USA and back makes
economic sense, nice saddles though.

Leighton's has moved from Birmingham to Aldridge - I've just
had my BSA A10 seat done by them. . . first rate job too.
