I am trying to get the "VM TV Go" App installed on my 2020 M1 Air (on
Sonoma). Its running perfectly well right now on my iPhone12 and Virgin
Media states that the App can run on Macs and PC's.

However, when I search the App store, the App doesn't seem to be
visible in either the Mac or iPhone section. I have other Apps that run
fine on both.

Anyone any clue what's going on and whether this should be possible?

Cheers JohnB

Mseries Macs can indeed run iPhone and iPad apps.

But it'll only show in the Mac App store (after searching, right hand
pane under the "iPhone and iPad apps" tab) if the developer ticks the
'allow on Macs' box. They presumably did not.

There might be some way you can wangle the .ipa over to the Mac, I
guess, if you can get the .ipa - I've never tried that or looked into it
though.

Cheers - Jaimie

Newstap is a good example of an ios / ipados app which runs well on
my M1 machine. I haven't really tried any other such apps but I think
some devs are missing opportunities to extend their apps' takeups.
Have a great Christmas, guys, and best wishes for the new year.
