I would if I knew how. If I click the link I get text that looks calendar like
but if I save it at text I can't do a thing with it.

I am totally unfamiliar with the inner workings of Calendar. And Calendar/Help
doesn't ☹️

In Calendar, go to File/New Calender Subscription and paste in the URL
above.

It's not great though - not only does it only actually flag the full
moon days, it tells you them in German so they're vollmond days.

It's that vague, whitish thingy falling around the sky, isn't it?
Sort of like a thrown stone that never quite manages to land on us?
[Which may be a very good thing.]

As with the nearly-mythical "Sol", it's rather difficult to find from
England due to almost Cytherean level cloudiness, light pollution and
actual atmospheric pollution but I, too, can claim to have spotted the
beastie on a couple of rare occasions.

Https:///www.heavens-above.com will give its phases and tell you when
and in which direction to spot it. Your local weather bureaus's
website will tell you that you *can't* due to rain, cloud and smog.

https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/phases/ looks good and works from
any OS and browser.

https://moonphases.co.uk/moon-calendar has a lovely, simple interface
and is useful for writers of historical stories as it has a date
selector.

Happy New Year,
J.

I'm a fan of BusyCal, which does this without fuss.

Yes, indeed. The thing being there is the result
of a biggish stone that did manage to land on us.
[Which wasn't a very good thing.]

No problem, it is well known that you can get your tan
from standing in the English rain.

Yes, the thing is depressingly dull and predictable in its habits.
You've seen her once, you know what she is up to,
and you can predict where she will hang out for the next week or so,

The problem was not with the iMac but with the link, which was incomplete. It
was a link to the site, not the actual calendar.

Having realised this, I subscribed to the calendar from there and it installed
with no problem.

Thanks to all.
