The subscription service.

Noticed recently that updates to old albums e.g. "Deluxe", "Remastered",
"Anniversary Edition" don't always include all tracks. Some tracks
remain under the original album (non-deluxe) version. This is new
behaviour for me as it used to be that both versions of the album
co-existed and you could choose one or both.

For example, Alt-J's An Awesome Wave in the "Deluxe" version is missing
Track 7 and the original version *only* has track 7. This is clearly
insane. Is it just me?

This is not the only time I've seen it and started about a month ago, I
think.

Is no-one else seeing this? If it is just me, can I fix it somehow?

Why don't you ask your fellow performers in the circus show. Perhaps the
Ringmaster can offer some advice? After all he seems to think he is the font
of all Appleabilia knowledge.

I thought it had been going on for years, I've certainly seen this
before in some albums I bought in the iTunes store - probably as far
back as when they started doing remastered stuff. The solution I use was
to download both albums, and create a playlist for that album containing
all the tracks.

Perhaps they're been doing some house keeping lately. I think it also
probably gets governed by the original publishers licensing with Apple.

I organise all my albums into playlists anyway, as they often got split
using the normal iTunes/Music filters (when there were collaborative
artists on some tracks for example).

Thanks for the reply. It's certainly new for me, but that may just be due
to my musical choices. I'll try the playlist route.
