The staff decide that Lilian has had far too much to drink and they
won't serve her any more. so Lilian persuades Eddie to get a large gin
in for her

But Lower Loxley can find no record of the table booked for Henry's birthday
meal and they are full because being New Year half of Ambridge has a
birthday or a wedding anniversary. Lilian asks Kate to buy her a bottle

Helen makes the effort to maintain her resolution of not whingeing but
doesn't think it will last a whole day.. Jakob (who's he?) has a visit
from Home Office officials attempting to deport him for crossing a seven
on his Settled Status application form.

Helen has still mananged to maintain her New Year resolution not to
whinge but it's becoming agonising, especially after Jolene's bean and

Helen’s older son. Keep up at the back, Vicky. (Personally, I hope this
will be the last of it, though realistically it ought go be a long running
separate plot as it’s an important part of Henry’s life, even if as a
conversation via Helen, especially as we also have the leaving of Lee which
also affects both boys
