It would be trivial to look on FreeBMD.org.uk; anyone born more than x
years ago will be in there. (Not sure what x is, but it's somewhere in
the range 20-40, I think.) I'm pretty certain any UMRAt will find
themself. To the nearest quarter, anyway (they name them by month, but
it's quarters really; I wish they wouldn't do that). It goes back to
1837Q2, so NB should definitely be there! (Just looking - there are
somewhat more John Gillivers than I thought. Even Neville Booths are
there, though the Ambridge one's record seems to have been lost!)

My spell checker doesn't like "themself" - wants me to use "themselves".
I'm sticking to the former for this case.

That always bothers me too. Reminds me of creepy salesmen (women don't say
