Anyone know why my Pages cursor (when entering text) is orange and 2 or 3 px
wide? In BBEdit it's black but also wide. I did hear that it may have
something to do with HiDPI screens - of which I have none. I just tried
Numbers - that was a "normal"one too until I updated it. Now it's 3px wide and
green.

Everything else looks normal.

For some reason they've colour (color?) coded those apps. If you select
a passage it is highlighted in orange or green as appropriate.

You can disable this in System Settings, Appearance - choose a fixed
"Accent Colour (and or "Highlight Colour") instead of "multicolour".

Not new, btw - maybe 10.10 or so? I think it came when macOS got the
kinda-iOS7 style makeover.
