I misdialled a number and the voice said "Oops, I think you need to
check that". Since when was "oops" considered appropriate? It reminds me
of the phrase "Oops, something went wrong". Who came up with that? It
sums up the state of our society. I expect the financial statement from
the chancellor to be "Oops, something went wrong". Everything is so
complicated now, nobody knows how it works and nobody knows why it
didn't.

Amazon have for some time now had some audio quiz skill that trips up the
unwary. If you are polite when saying n, and say no thanks, it launches the
game no thanks.
The other one is called something like pull my Finger, and it is on the
surface a farting skill, something at Alexa seems to enjoy.
Trouble is when you quit it it will run in the background and randomly Say
I'm sure you have more in you, and fart. The only way I managed to banish it
was to restart the Alexa in question OK its funny the first couple of times
but becomes very tiresome after that.
