Hmm. Yes, it could develop into a similarly nasty story. Though I
_think_ Alice - even with her (past?) alcoholism - isn't as susceptible
as Helen was.

The more immediate nastiness, to me, is the Jolene/Jake situation, which
I can see getting very nasty - and the Powers Of Good - Carpet - being
very overstretched; even before his recent Warning, he is really just
one person, and can't fight off (I hope it doesn't come to literally) an
evil gang. Sure, he can call for reinforcements, but they (the
reinforcements) aren't going to hang around on a long-term basis.

Oh dear. I should have said umbrella (or maybe in this case Umbrella). I
mean the person from Jolene's past who recently contacted her and told
her to Keep Quiet (who may or may not be involved with the people in the
Bull car park who set their dogs on Kenton).

AIAOU in thinking the SWs are carefully avoiding any reference to
