A venerable potted Lemon Geranium had an unhappy winter in a sheltered
outside location.

It is growing out, but a lot of the leaves seem to have lost their heavily
crinkled shape.

I have taken cuttings (before this was apparent) and they seem to be doing
well, but are also showing lesser signs of this.

It is a specialised hybrid (IIRC).
Don't know if this is some kind of reversion to a parent strain, a virus
or other disease, or something else.

Cheers

If this has at any time suffered enough damage to cause it to start
again from the roots I have noticed that the plant which grows is often
not the same as the top growth eg Lady Plymouth if grown from root
cuttings will be unscented in leaf or Madam Nonin will become Patens
unique . Dont know why just something we have observed here with our
collection of scented leafed and species Pelargoniums

Thanks.
Cuttings seem to be doing well and mainly crinkled leaves.
The main plant is showing signs of crinkled leaves as well.
We shall see how it goes.

Cheers
